Service Dog Alliance

Service Dog Alliance of Florida began as an informal group of service dog handlers that were regularly experiencing discrimination - denial of entry, non-responsiveness to workplace reasonable accommodation requests and denial, refusal of goods and services, and interference with the service dog team.

Fighting each individual incident was very time consuming and getting in the way of living productive lives. We believed the better solution was education of the masses : handlers, community, businesses, and government rather than the use of administrative grievance processes or legal remedies.

In November of 2018, Service Dog Alliance of Florida was launched as the education component of New Life Medical Service Dogs, Inc.

In 2024 the name was changed to Service Dog Alliance to represent all of the work being done to advance the service dog community.

We are a 501©3 non-profit all volunteer organization registered with the IRS and the State of Florida.
